Facebook hires two former Coinbase employees

Our favorite social media giant, Facebook, has just hired two former employees of Coinbase.
Both the employees are compliance experts, who specialize in Anti-money laundering, risk management, and cryptocurrency regulations.
As Airdrop Alert recently reported, Facebook has been exploring blockchain technology, hiring developers and working on their own coin. Speculations of Facebook coin, facecoin or FBcoin have been floating around the industry for a while. It looks like the coin will hold the characteristics of a stablecoin to use on their platform and WhatsApp, which is also owned by Mark Zuckerberg.
The social platform recently changed its policy on advertisements for cryptocurrencies. ICO's are still prohibited, but they have definitely reduced restrictions for crypto marketing.
With the ongoing positive news of established companies exploring blockchain, we slowly see sentiment around cryptocurrency changing. The last few weeks have been mostly green numbers of token prices. The positive sentiment could mean it's a great time to start collecting free airdrops again or look at other ways to earn crypto.
On another note, there have also been some concerning news around crypto lately. Exchanges like Binance were hacked and paused trading for a week. Or Bitfinex is facing regulatory issues with the USA.
