The client analyzes latency, jitter, packet loss, throughput, and connection stability to determine how much bandwidth can be safely used without affecting normal internet activity, routing verified traffic through encrypted channels into Lume’s decentralized DePIN network layer 📡

Each contribution is validated through Proof-of-Bandwidth Contribution (PoBC), a mechanism that records delivered bandwidth together with reliability and quality indicators, ensuring rewards are distributed transparently based on real network participation.

Contribution data is periodically aggregated and verified through on-chain settlement mechanisms, ensuring transparent reward distribution based on verified participation.

Lume also introduces a level progression system where users accumulate experience points while contributing bandwidth. Advancing through levels unlocks additional reward bonuses:

• Bronze → base participation

• Silver → +2% reward bonus

• Gold → +4% reward bonus
