Tangem is a Swiss crypto wallet company based in Zug, Switzerland. Founded in 2017, it manufactures smartcard hardware wallets focused on crypto security and self-custody.

The hardware wallet can also be used without writing down a seed phrase. The private key can be generated and stored inside the secure chip, while backup access is kept across extra Tangem cards. A seed phrase remains optional for users who prefer it. The wallet is available worldwide, and users can check delivery times and shipping costs for their country before ordering.
