Linea

Linea is a type 2 zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) developed by @ConsenSys. Functioning as a rollup, it replicates the Ethereum environment, allowing developers to build and deploy smart contracts and ÐApps as if on the Ethereum network.

Users benefit from Ethereum’s security with lower transaction costs. Although Linea is still in beta and a network token launch is not immediate, updates are forthcoming.
