Moonbirds, the flagship owl collection, shook Web3 by announcing a Solana-native ecosystem token, $BIRB, arriving in Q1 2026. The move marks a major expansion beyond Ethereum, opening a broader, token-powered future for the Moonbirds ecosystem and its long-standing community 🦉

At its core, Moonbirds consists of a small number of NFT collections. The Moonbirds collection remains the primary reference point, Mythics and Oddities extend the set of holders, and the PROOF Collective pass represents the highest membership tier within the PROOF environment.

🪂 Talons are the rewards system tied directly to NFT ownership, accruing automatically for eligible collections. While no criteria have been announced, Talons provide an on-chain record of long-term holding that may be relevant in the context of a potential $BIRB airdrop post-TGE.

At the moment, there is no contract address, no claim page, and no snapshot live for $BIRB. The team has clearly stated that ample time will be provided ahead of launch, with further details communicated in advance so the community can prepare without pressure or rushed decisions.
