Bees pollinate 75% of the food we eat on a given day. Tomatoes, apples, raspberries… they all exist thanks to bees. Our cute yellow buzzing friends preserve our biodiversity and save food as we know it.
The NFBEE supermarket is a metaverse destination entirely dedicated to the preservation of bees. Here, you will be able to buy and collect special NFTs.
What is an NFBEE?
The NFBEEs are funny little bee characters, a mix between a cute bee and a popular fruit or vegetable that they pollinate. As of today, 15 unique NFBEEs, each representing bees who pollinate fruits and vegetables, have been designed and sold out.
100% of the collected money will go to the Fondation de France’s Bee Fund and will be invested in actions to save the bees.
The NFBEE initiative is powered by the Carrefour Group which, through its Act For Food program, cares about bees and biodiversity. The project is hosted on The Sandbox, where you can read more about the NFBEEs.
