Crypto users often spend months grinding across DeFi protocols, accumulating points from restaking, bridging, deposits, and other onchain activities. Yet those points remain scattered across dashboards, with no way to verify their value or trade them before a token launch.

Checkpoint Exchange aggregates off-chain points from integrated protocols across multiple chains into a single dashboard and adds a collateral-backed orderbook where users can buy and sell those points before a Token Generation Event (TGE).

The protocol started as an internal tool for tracking Pendle points, then expanded after demand from other DeFi participants. It uses a universal identifier model based on ERC-7930, meaning it can resolve EVM addresses, Solana wallets, and Farcaster IDs to pull points from any source.

Sellers deposit their points, back them with USDC locked in escrow, and list offers. Buyers fill those offers and receive escrow tokens settled via LayerZero. When a points program ends and a token launches, protocol tokens are distributed pro-rata across all escrow holders in that market.

Checkpoint is a 0xPortalLabs initiative, built by core contributors known as Blaze and Synth.

The Checkpoint testnet campaign is live on Arbitrum Sepolia.

Participation is tracked via an XP system, and with mainnet on the horizon, early testers are positioning for a potential token allocation. No snapshot date has been set yet.

XP is earned by connecting a wallet, trading on the orderbook, and completing quests. The Early Checker Quest Series on Galxe offers additional rewards, with new quests dropping regularly.

Step by step guide Checkpoint Airdrop

Get Started → Go to the Checkpoint Exchange testnet portal, connect an EVM wallet for testing purposes, and sign the gasless verification to earn +10 Checkpoint XP automatically.
Earn XP → Open Markets from the left menu, select the Checkpoint XP market, and start trading. Create a sell offer or fill an existing buy offer to earn more XP.
• First deposit into a market earns +100 XP.
• Each trade earns +5 XP, up to 5 trades per day.
• Copy your invite link from the Leaderboard page & share it to earn 10% of your referrals’ XP.
💡 Gas is fully abstracted and USDC is mintless on testnet, so there is no cost to participate.
