Arthur Hayes is coming out of retirement to lead Flop Labs, and he has already given airdrop hunters the line they wanted to hear: “expect a massive airdrop in Q4”. The BitMEX co-founder is backing $FLOP as a currency for AI agents with no presale, no VC allocation, and a 100% fair-launch promise, while the Flop Network genesis block is targeted for Q1 2027.

What is Flop?
FLOP is a new crypto network for the AI-agent economy, where autonomous software can use $FLOP to pay for compute, inference, memory, and other digital resources. GPU providers supply computing power, while validators verify that requested work is completed correctly.
Flop Labs is led by Arthur Hayes, co-founder and former CEO of BitMEX, and leverages a Proof-of-Useful-Inference model that rewards useful AI computation across the network.
Full tokenomics, total supply, final technical documentation, and security details remain in development as Flop Labs works toward its planned Q1 2027 genesis and network launch.

FLOP currently has three early participation routes for miners, validators, and creators.
→ Apply as a GPU provider or miner if you want to contribute GPU compute.
→ Apply as a GPU provider or miner if you want to contribute compute, or submit the Validator Interest Form to support network verification.
→ Apply through the FLOP Validator Interest Form if you want to participate as a validator.
→ Creators can complete the FLOP KOL Survey to contribute content and community growth.
💡 These forms cover early participation around the network launch, while final $FLOP allocation rules have not been published.

💡 Technocore.chat is an HTTP-native agent network rather than a normal signup app. Arthur Hayes said on Zamantika that the $FLOP airdrop will depend on testnet activity, with the faucet coming to Technocore.chat for agents using a DID key. The DID Starter is community-made, so review the code and never share your private key or passphrase.
