Backyard Finance
Earning stablecoin yield on Solana often means moving between different protocols, checking separate vault pages, comparing rates, and managing positions across multiple dashboards.
Backyard Finance brings that flow into one place. It lets users browse supported Solana yield vaults, combine them into a custom strategy, and manage the position from one dashboard.
Users can choose supported vaults, set a custom USDC allocation, and create a diversified strategy across Solana protocols such as Kamino, Perena, Jupiter, Manifest, Meteora, and Flash.
The protocol also adds a liquidity layer through Strategy LP tokens. After creating a strategy, users receive Strategy LP tokens, which can be used as collateral to borrow Backyard Dollar, also known as BYD. This allows to keep exposure to their yield strategy while accessing extra liquidity.
BYD is minted against user collateral. Users repay BYD debt to reclaim collateral, and positions below the required health factor can be liquidated.
The project was named a Grand Prize Winner in the Solana Mobile Monolith Hackathon, where Solana Mobile highlighted its focus on stablecoin strategies across multiple vaults.
🪂 Season 0 Rewards: XP, Yield, and Potential $YARD Airdrop
Backyard BBQ Season 0 rewards users for creating Solana yield strategies.
Users can deposit into supported stablecoin vault strategies, earn yield from selected DeFi vaults, and earn Season 0 XP at the same time. Each supported vault can generate XP separately, so one strategy can create multiple XP streams during Season 0.
The native token is $YARD. YARD and veYARD are tied to governance, emissions, treasury incentives, protocol decisions, and long-term ecosystem participation. A token airdrop has not been confirmed yet, but Season 0 XP, BBQ badges, invite activity, vault usage, and the app’s Total YARD Earned tracker make this relevant for users watching a potential post-TGE airdrop.
📌 NFA / DYOR: Yield comes from the vaults selected inside each strategy, so it is not risk-free. APYs can change, and users may face vault, borrowing, and liquidation risks. We could not find confirmed public information about the company, funding, backers, or audits. Always DYOR.
