Immediately, @ZachXBT detected the suspicious outflows and jumped into action, monitoring and submitting the definitive proof that the attack was perpetrated by the notorious Lazarus Group, earning him the Arkham Intel Bounty. This revelation was confirmed by the FBI a few days after!
In response to this incident, Bybit has taken a firm stand and launched the Lazarus Bounty recovery program, consisting of a powerful HackScan tool designed to track, expose, and disrupt illicit fund flows, ensuring that cybercriminals have nowhere to hide. The hunt is on! 🏹
Furthermore, to encourage contributions in tracing the compromised funds, Bybit is offering a bounty of up to 10% of the stolen funds that are tracked and frozen, worth ~$1,400,000,000 💥
