Echo
In a bold move reshaping Web3 finance ⚡, Coinbase has acquired Echo, the on-chain fundraising platform founded by Jordan Fish (@Cobie), in a deal valued at $375 million.
This union transforms Echo’s community-first vision into a core piece of Coinbase’s global infrastructure 🌍 — a clear signal that the next generation of capital formation will unfold on-chain, where transparency and access replace private VC exclusivity.
Echo enables anyone to invest in early-stage crypto projects through verified, compliant, and fully transparent smart-contract systems 💼. With its Sonar framework, founders can host regulated public rounds, while investors can reuse a single verified profile across every sale.
Every allocation, vesting rule, and settlement is executed automatically through smart contracts using $USDC on Base — creating a level playing field between builders and backers 💰
The first project funded through Echo was Ethena Labs — the protocol behind USDe, the yield-bearing synthetic dollar redefining stability in DeFi. The Ethena Airdrop Season 4 is live 🪂

Step by step guide Echo Airdrop
Create account → Head to the Echo early-stage fundraising platform and sign up with your email/Google to create your investor account.
Set up your profile → Link your 𝕏 or Farcaster pseudonym, confirm your country of residence, and accept Echo’s investor terms.
Investor review → Complete the investor questionnaire covering your experience, investment horizon, accreditation status, and risk awareness. You’ll also acknowledge that some investments may be illiquid or non-transferable, and losses can be total.
Complete KYC & Tax ID → Verify your identity through Sumsub, Echo’s secure compliance provider, and provide your Tax ID as required for regulatory reporting. This verification step ensures you can access private groups and invest under Echo’s compliance framework.
Join groups → On the dashboard, browse featured investor groups like The Economist Ventures, Base Ecosystem Group, and Alpen Capital. Apply to at least three to qualify for deal access and early-stage allocations managed by verified group leads.
Fund & allocate → Deposit $USDC on Base into your Echo embedded wallet. If your funds are on another network, bridge them via jumper.exchange. Once funded, review each deal’s vesting and lockup terms, then sign your investment on-chain using Echo’s non-custodial contracts.
* As Web3 evolves, Echo stands as proof that transparency, compliance, and accessibility can coexist — and that the future of fundraising belongs on-chain. Follow @echodotxyz on 𝕏 for the latest updates.
