Hollywood Hills is a cosmic-horror feature backed by The Sandbox co-founders Arthur Madrid and Sébastien Borget, giving fans the opportunity to invest in the film, share in its revenue, receive limited Villa NFTs and help solve a mystery that may influence what ends up on screen. The investment offering opens through Republic on October 8, and the waitlist is already live.

Investors can receive a Hollywood Hills Villa from a limited collection of 3,000 NFTs illustrated by Steve Scott, whose work includes Led Zeppelin and the Guggenheim. Each Villa represents an address in the fictional Hills and contains a piece of evidence tied to the central mystery.
Villa holders get hidden clues, holder-only Discord content, behind-the-scenes production drops, The Black Fire Archive investigation game and early comic access. Higher-rarity Villas add extra story and experiential perks, while Legendary Villas can become part of the wider canon.
The investment carries revenue rights based on the amount invested across release, streaming, merchandise, sequels and remakes. Investors are paid until distributions reach 120% of their original investment, after which further profits are split 50/50 between investors and producers.
About Hollywood Hills
Hollywood Hills is a cosmic horror thriller feature film, written and directed by Benjamin Rozovas, who spent two decades covering film for GQ and Première before working on games using The Walking Dead IP and directing Sam & Julia. The story follows the Dead & Famous night bus through Hollywood’s darker side, passing celebrity deaths, murders and infamous addresses instead of movie-star homes. When the bus disappears into the Hills during a strange cosmic event, aspiring filmmaker Jenny and washed-up movie star Emil Lazar set out to find it.
The production team includes Harrison Allen, Oscar Gervet and Rei Pictures, bringing experience across film and productions shown at Cannes, Venice and Sundance. Advisers include Sam Pressman, CEO of Pressman Film, behind American Psycho, The Crow and Wall Street, and Thomas Vu, executive producer of Arcane and former Head of Creative at Riot Games.
