IRIS Credit Airdrop
Fixed-rate borrowing is still one of DeFi’s missing pieces, and IRIS is taking a fresh shot at it with a live testnet that also puts a potential $IRIS Airdrop on the radar.
Although no native token or airdrop has been confirmed at the time of writing, the Bond Model Roadmap introduces future governed risk policies and a governed minimum bond floor. That leaves room for a broader governance layer and gives early users a real reason to watch for a potential native IRIS token as the protocol moves toward mainnet.
🪂 Test IRIS With Free Test Assets
The live IRIS Testnet lets participants try the protocol without committing real funds. Testers can create borrowing requests, receive fixed-rate quotes, experiment with different maturities and maximum rates, exclude lending venues, open test positions, and report bugs.
IRIS distributes test assets directly to participating wallets rather than using a public faucet. There are currently no confirmed points or airdrop allocations tied to testnet activity.
What is IRIS?
IRIS brings fixed-rate borrowing to DeFi without creating a separate lending pool. Borrowers describe the loan they want by choosing the collateral, amount, maturity, maximum acceptable rate, and permitted venues, then solvers compete to return a fixed-rate quote using liquidity from existing lending markets.
The lending venue supplies the capital, while the winning solver takes on the rate risk. Solvers can refinance or move the underlying position between supported venues as market conditions change, while the borrower keeps the agreed fixed rate. Because each request is priced individually, IRIS can also support custom maturities instead of forcing every loan into standard 30, 90, or 180-day buckets.
The current supported markets are designed for Ethereum mainnet, using Aave V3 and selected Morpho Blue markets underneath. IRIS Devnet is a Tenderly-based testing environment for the current testnet, not a separate IRIS blockchain.
IRIS grew out of earlier work on 246 Club, with Glovin publicly representing the project and authoring its main protocol introduction. Gami Capital lists IRIS as a seed portfolio investment, while a July 2026 Hexens security review found four low-severity issues and no major-severity vulnerabilities. No reliable public legal company entity or company location was confirmed.

Step by step guide IRIS Credit Airdrop
-
Apply for the IRIS Testnet
Submit the official IRIS Testnet Form with the EVM wallet you plan to use.
→ Add your 𝕏 handle, Telegram handle, and wallet address, and follow @Iris_Credit on 𝕏 so the team can contact you by DM.
→ Share the pairs, terms, or borrowing strategies you would like to test so IRIS can match demand with solver coverage.
💡 IRIS sends test assets directly to the wallet address submitted in the form. There is no separate claim page.
-
Connect your wallet and add IRIS Devnet
Go to the IRIS Credit app and connect your EVM wallet.
→ Add the custom IRIS network when prompted. It uses Chain ID 9991 and may appear in your wallet as IRIS Devnet.
→ Once connected, check the IRIS Devnet balance for your test assets. In our test, 0.0015 ETH appeared after adding the network, providing test ETH for transactions.
💡 Use the official IRIS Testnet Guide if you need the RPC details.
-
Test the borrowing flow and report bugs
Set up a test loan by choosing your collateral, debt asset, maturity, maximum acceptable rate, and lending venues, then request a solver quote.
→ Compare different terms by lowering the maximum rate until no quote returns, changing the maturity, or selecting and excluding Aave and Morpho where available.
→ Complete a borrowing setup you would realistically use, note anything that breaks or feels unclear, and report it through the official IRIS Testnet Bug Report Form.
💡 IRIS specifically wants feedback on the full borrowing flow, realistic loan scenarios, and any point where the app works but still leaves you guessing what to do next.
* The IRIS Airdrop is not confirmed, but the testnet gives early users a practical way to try fixed-rate borrowing with test assets and report useful bugs. Follow @Iris_Credit on 𝕏 for updates.
