About Lighter

Lighter runs as a ZK rollup on Ethereum L2, where every order and liquidation is cryptographically proven on-chain. Its millisecond execution enables high-frequency trading while keeping every action transparent through the integrated Block Explorer.

Two account types are available:

► Free → 0 % maker / 0 % taker fees

► Premium → 0.002 % maker / 0.02 % taker

Deposits and withdrawals use native $USDC only, supported on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Avalanche C-Chain, with a 5 USDC minimum deposit.

All smart contracts and ZK circuits are audited by Nethermind.

The Lighter Liquidity Provider (LLP) pool powers the protocol’s liquidity, rewarding users through funding rates, while Public Pools let anyone join or create on-chain strategies like Delta-Neutral or BTC-vs-ALTS, tracked with real-time APR and Sharpe ratios 📊

Step by step guide Lighter Airdrop

Connect & Authenticate → Head to the Lighter App , connect your EVM wallet, and sign two messages to create your Lighter key — no email or KYC needed.
Deposit USDC → Add at least 5 USDC from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, or Avalanche C-Chain — only native USDC is supported.
Choose Account Type → Pick between Free (0 fees) or Premium (advanced execution) — you can switch every 24 hours.
Trade & Earn Points → Trade perpetuals on Ethereum L2 with instant execution, on-chain proofs for every match and liquidation, and up to ×50 leverage on major markets. Each action — trading, providing liquidity, or inviting others — earns Points toward future rewards.
Withdraw Funds → Withdraw anytime through Fast Withdrawals on Arbitrum (≈ 15–20 s, 3 USDC fee) or Secure Withdrawals to Ethereum (≈ 1.5 h via native bridge), with instant internal transfers between accounts.
