Teller DeFi Protocol
Teller brings traditional lending and decentralized finance together, offering access to personal and business loans, crypto-backed borrowing, onchain lending markets and AI-powered financial services. Through Teller Pro, users can borrow against digital assets, earn interest by supplying liquidity and manage their finances across multiple blockchains.
💸 Lending, Borrowing and Earning Yield on Teller
The Teller Pro platform provides access to several financial products:
➜ No-Collateral Loans: Pre-qualify for personal, business, home and auto loans through traditional lending partners, with offers matched to users based on their location and eligibility.
➜ Asset-Backed Borrowing: Borrow USDC against cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks and other supported assets without selling them. Loans have fixed terms and no mid-term margin calls, although missed repayment deadlines can result in collateral liquidation.
➜ Earn Yield: Supply assets to isolated lending pools and earn variable interest based on borrowing activity, with rates and withdrawal conditions determined by each pool.
➜ Referral Commissions: Earn 1% when referred users take qualifying crypto-backed loans, with commissions paid directly to the connected wallet.
➜ Teller Score: Earn Points through swaps, borrowing, partner offers and referrals to unlock collateral-free USDC loans at 0% interest for 30 days. Each Point represents $1 in potential borrowing capacity, subject to eligibility and verification.
Teller Score provides access to additional borrowing capacity rather than direct financial rewards. Points have no cash value, and no airdrop or Points-to-token conversion has been announced.
Teller also supports cross-chain swaps, portfolio management and tokenized US real estate, with each property held through a dedicated LLC and represented by a single ownership token.
Its AI integration, Debit AI, enables automated trading, lending, borrowing and portfolio strategies through configurable financial agents. The ecosystem includes $DEBIT, a BNB Chain utility token used for AI-agent credits and accepted as collateral for eligible lending markets.
The company was founded in 2019 by Ryan Berkun, who previously founded Fabrx, and is based in the United States. It has secured funding from prominent investors, as reported by PRWeb. The protocol has also undergone multiple security audits by Sherlock.

Crypto-backed borrowing generally uses a connected wallet, while collateral-free loans through Teller Score require identity verification and eligibility checks. Crypto loans carry liquidation risks, and lending pools involve variable yields and potential capital losses.
🧠 You can also use Debit AI, Teller’s noncustodial AI-powered financial agent, to execute swaps and automate onchain strategies through ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. New users can claim 100 free debits after connecting a wallet. These are AI usage credits, separate from $DEBIT, the utility token used to power agent activity and access staking benefits.
