The best P2E airdrops right now are Kintara, BR1 INFINITE, Minds Games, Hashcats, and Captain & Company. Four of the five are free to start, all five are live, and each one pays out in tokens, points, or on-chain rewards for actually playing. We update this list every few months as games launch, finish their seasons, or die off, so what you see here is the current crop.
If you want the background on how play-to-earn works and why most of the 2021 wave collapsed, read our play-to-earn explainer first. This page is the practical side: what to play, what it pays, and where the catch is.
Here’s our Gaming airdrop hub, for all play-to-earn opportunities.
How We Pick Gaming Airdrops
Gaming has been a category on AirdropAlert since 2017, and it attracts more junk than any other. So the bar for this list is simple.
- The game has to be playable today, not a trailer and a waitlist
- The reward has to be real: a live token, confirmed points-to-token campaign, or on-chain rewards you can withdraw
- Free-to-play entry, or an entry cost small enough that it doesn’t matter
- Our team has run through the sign-up and the first sessions themselves
Anything that fails one of those goes on the listing pages with a warning, not on this list. Where a game has a catch, we say so in the entry.
The Best Gaming Airdrops Right Now
1. Kintara
Kintara is a browser-based isometric MMO on Solana. Think old-school RuneScape: chop wood, mine, fish, fight mobs, and trade. Gold runs the day-to-day economy, and $KINS is the on-chain token you cash out in.
You earn $KINS by listing Gold on the marketplace, winning PvP wagers in the Wilderness, and landing rare fishing drops. Marketplace sales pay 95% straight to your wallet. Every cast also carries a 1-in-250 shot at a Blue Whale mount and 1-in-1,000 at a Gold Whale, both tradable for $KINS.
The catch: you need to hold 1,000 $KINS to enter, which is a few dollars at current prices. It’s the only game on this list with an entry requirement, and it’s small enough to ignore. The token already trades, so there’s no waiting for a TGE.
2. BR1 INFINITE
BR1 INFINITE is a skill-based extraction shooter on Solana where every kill pays real money. Pay a spawn fee on Risk Servers, eliminate players to collect cash, and extract to lock it in. Free servers let you practice without risking anything.
The airdrop side is a Play-to-Airdrop campaign. You earn BR1 Points per session and per kill, plus multipliers from daily activity, referrals, and eligible Operatives and Weapons. Points spend in the BR1 Store today, and $BR1 token rewards are confirmed for event winners and community leaders.
The catch: the Points-to-token conversion rate and TGE date haven’t been published, and broad eligibility for Points holders isn’t confirmed yet. Windows only. New accounts get a $5 Preseason bonus for spawn fees, so you can start at zero cost. The studio, Bravo Ready, raised from Solana Ventures, KRAFTON, and Magic Eden, which is more backing than most games on any list.
3. Minds Games
Minds Games is the odd one out. You don’t play. You build an AI agent called a Mind, give it skills and a strategy, and send it into poker, chess, trading, debate, and forecasting competitions against other agents. Ten seasons, $100,000 in prizes, results anchored on Robinhood Chain.
The reward layer is a points campaign for profile actions, quests, Mind activity, and referrals. Creating your Mind and completing three conversations with it also unlocks $5 in HelloMinds credits. There’s an NFT allowlist on top, with a 1.5x contributor multiplier for holders of assets like Pons and Cashcat.
The catch: no token is announced and no airdrop is confirmed. It’s built by an Animoca Brands builder and runs on a chain we cover heavily, so the setup for a future distribution is all there. This is an early-position play, not a guaranteed payout.
4. Hashcats
Hashcats is a fully on-chain proof-of-work NFT collection on Robinhood Chain. Your browser mines a valid solution using CPU or GPU, then you pay the current epoch price plus gas to mint the cat. Once you own one, it earns $ETH rent from cats mined in later epochs, and you can stake it for $HASH and extra $ETH, sell it, or burn it for $HASH.
The catch is the biggest on this list. There is no airdrop, mining costs money to mint, and our team found no third-party audit and no public source for the browser miner. ScamAdviser flags the young domain. It makes the list because the reward mechanics are live and the $HASH token trades, but treat it as the highest-risk entry here. Use a burner wallet and don’t mint more than you’d write off.
5. Captain & Company
Captain & Company is a free-to-play pirate MMORPG on browser, PC, and mobile with 128-player naval battles. You sail, fish, hunt treasure, fight bosses, and join Pillage Wars. No NFT, no wallet needed to start.
Doubloons are the in-game currency you earn from everything. They aren’t tradable, but a Pirate Pass or Event Pass opens the Web3 layer: Event Currencies, withdrawable items, Auction House trading, and the $CNC token economy. The current campaign is an Enjin tie-in with 100,000 $ENJ locked in 50 Pirate Blob NFTs, 45 of them going to the Piracy leaderboard.
The catch: the good rewards sit behind the Pirate Pass. Our advice on the listing stands. Play free first, and only buy a pass if you’d play anyway. The studio, KAP Games, is backed by Polygon Ventures, Yield Guild Games, and Solana Foundation, so it’s not going anywhere soon.

How to Farm Gaming Airdrops Without Getting Burned
Gaming pulls in the youngest, newest crowd in crypto, and scammers know it. Five rules:
- Separate wallet for games. Never connect your main wallet to a new game, even a legit one.
- Free to start or a tiny entry. If a game wants a deposit before you can earn, skip it.
- Claim through the listing link. Fake claim pages are the number one gaming scam. Our listings point at the official URL.
- Read the catch. Every entry above has one. Unconfirmed tokens, pass paywalls, unaudited contracts. Know which one you’re accepting.
- Bank before PvP. In games like Kintara, dying in the open zone drops your loot. In BR1, cash isn’t yours until you extract.
For the wider strategy across all categories, our airdrop farming guide covers wallets, Sybil filters, and how to prioritise. If gaming isn’t your thing, we run the same kind of refreshed lists for new testnet airdrops and new DePIN airdrops. And for the basics of how any of this works, start with the full picture of crypto airdrops.
Keep This Content Free
Every game on this list was tested by our team before it went up, and this page gets refreshed every few months for free. When your gaming tokens land and you want to sell, OKX and Bybit list most of them early. Signing up through our links costs you nothing and pays for the next round of testing.
Final Words
Gaming airdrops in 2026 look nothing like the Axie days. The best ones are free to start, the tokens either trade already or come from a documented campaign, and the games are playable on their own merits. Kintara and Captain & Company are the picks if you want something fun. BR1 is the pick if you’re a shooter player. Minds Games is a low-effort early position. Hashcats is for people who understand the risk and want on-chain yield anyway.
Check back in a few months. The list will look different.

FAQ
What are gaming airdrops?
Gaming airdrops are token or NFT distributions that crypto games give to players, usually for playing early, completing quests, or earning points during a campaign before the token launches.
Are gaming airdrops free?
Most are. Four of the five games on this list cost nothing to start. Kintara needs a few dollars of $KINS to enter, and Hashcats charges an epoch price to mint.
Which gaming airdrops are confirmed?

Where can I find all gaming airdrops?
Use the gaming filter on our browse airdrops page. Every active gaming listing is there with a step-by-step guide.
How often is this list updated?
Every few months, or sooner when a major game launches a campaign. Games that end their season or shut down are removed.
What is the safest gaming airdrop on this list?
Captain & Company. Free to play, no wallet required to start, and a studio with serious backing. The riskiest is Hashcats, which has no audit and requires paying to mint.
