Taiko ZK-EVM Alpha-2 testnet is live! Following the previous Taiko Alpha 1 Testnet, Alpha-2 Testnet continues the trend of Icelandic volcanos and is called Askja. Let’s scale this mountain on the road to scaling Ethereum securely as the Mainnet launch approaches!

Step-by-Step Guide ''Taiko Alpha-2 Askja Testnet''
- Configure your Metamask wallet with both the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet and Taiko Alpha-2 Testnet networks. * Avoid using a wallet that contains real funds for testing purposes!
- Receive $ETH test coins on Sepolia by using the Sepolia Goerli Faucet.
- Navigate to the Taiko Bridge, select $HORSE from the dropdown, and click "Faucet" + "Mint" to request 50 $HORSE on the Sepolia network. Repeat the same step to receive 50 $BLL. Note that you must have a small amount of ETH in your Sepolia wallet to send the transaction.
- Switch your wallet to the Taiko Alpha-2 Testnet network and Add custom tokens $HORSE and $BLL to Metamask using the provided configuration.
- Bridge $ETH from Sepolia to Taiko A2 and try bridging $HORSE and/or $BLL from Sepolia to Taiko and vice-versa. You can also manually claim the transfer by clicking the "Claim" button under the "Transactions" tab.
- Swap some tokens on Swap.A2.Taiko.xyz & Add Liquidity.
- (Optional) Run a Taiko node, Enable a prover, Deploy a contract, Build a ÐApp, report any bugs you encounter and provide feedback. To reward provers for their computing resources expended during proof generation, Taiko Labs is creating a reward campaign.
