Arc Airdrop
Arc has come a long way since our Public Testnet coverage, with Mainnet going live on September 16, 2026 alongside the genesis mint of all 10 billion $ARC. The Arc airdrop is confirmed within the distribution plan, while eligibility criteria and claim details are still to be announced.
🪂 Most of the $ARC Token Supply Will Go to Users and Contributors
60% of the initial $ARC supply is allocated to the ecosystem, with that allocation covering developer grants, network growth programs and broader participation mechanisms, and the majority of $ARC set to go to participants who build on, use and contribute to the network.
Airdrop eligibility criteria have not been published yet, so it remains unclear which Mainnet activities or previous testnet participation will count toward $ARC distribution.
What is Arc?
Arc is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 launched by Circle for stablecoin finance, global payments and institutional markets. $USDC is the native gas token, transactions reach deterministic sub-second finality, and Circle CCTP and Gateway connect Arc with more than 20 blockchains. Founding validators include BlackRock, DTCC, Mastercard, Visa and Standard Chartered. Mainnet launched with more than 100 institutional and ecosystem builders across DeFi, tokenized assets, StableFX and payments, alongside Arc Studio and App Kits for developers and Circle Agent Stack for policy-controlled AI-agent wallets, gas-free nanopayments and programmatic market access.
$ARC is Arc’s coordination token, linking network security, economic governance, fee mechanics and platform utility. Arc currently uses Proof of Authority, with staking and delegation tied to a future transition to Proof of Stake or delegated Proof of Stake. The 10 billion genesis supply is split 60% to the ecosystem, 25% to Circle and 15% to the long-term reserve. Although the full supply has been minted, $ARC is not yet publicly tradeable. Read the official $ARC whitepaper.
In Q2 2026, Circle sold 807.5 million $ARC to institutional investors at $0.30 per token, raising approximately $242.2 million at a $3 billion fully diluted network valuation. Investors included a16z crypto, BlackRock, and others. Presale tokens are locked for at least one year after Arc transitions to Proof of Stake or delegated Proof of Stake, while the purchase terms include repayment rights if that transition has not been completed by May 8, 2028. Step by step guide Arc Airdrop
-
Set up your Arc wallet and fund it with $USDC
Set up your EVM wallet for Arc Mainnet, then fund it with $USDC.
→ Rabby already has Arc integrated. Other EVM wallets can add the network through Chainlist, or click “Add Arc Mainnet” in the top-right corner of Arc Explorer, or add the network manually using Network Name
Arc, RPC URLhttps://rpc.mainnet.arc.io, Chain ID5042, Currency SymbolUSDC, and Block Explorerhttps://explorer.arc.io.→ Fund your wallet by bridging $USDC through the Arc Portal or Circle $USDC Bridge. You can also buy $USDC on supported exchanges including Binance, Bybit, Kraken, OKX, KuCoin, Gate and MEXC, then withdraw it directly to your wallet using the Arc network.
💡 $USDC is the native gas token on Arc, so keep a small balance available for transaction fees. The official $ARC contract is

Explore the Arc ecosystem
the Arc Portal is the front door to the ecosystem, where you can swap assets, discover applications, track balances and activity, and access earn, borrow and lend opportunities.
→ Trade and provide liquidity through DEXs such as Uniswap and Aero. You can also trade the hottest Arc memecoins through Fomo.
→ Check the Earn section to put your $USDC to work through Morpho. As of September 17, 2026, the markets showed 0.0% estimated APY, so monitor rates as liquidity develops.
→ Discover apps and assets including $USDC, $EURC, cirBTC, tokenized assets and StableFX. Portal also has Agent Wallets with configurable spending limits and permissions.
→ Explore Pulsar Money, a Europe-focused, multi-currency stablecoin app on Arc for USD and EUR balances, up to 6% APY through DeFi strategies, and virtual Visa card spending.
→ Staking is not live yet, however $ARC will be used for staking and delegation when Arc transitions from Proof of Authority to Proof of Stake or delegated Proof of Stake.
💡 Airdrop eligibility rules are still unknown, so no action guarantees a $ARC allocation. For now, use Arc as you normally use other chains and follow official updates.

Build and contribute on Arc
Developers and contributors already have several ways to take part in the Arc ecosystem.
→ Start with Arc Studio to build onchain apps, write smart contracts, create AI agents or import a project from GitHub. Use Arc Docs for network and developer references, with App Kits, CCTP and Gateway available for wallets, crosschain transfers and interoperability.
→ Working Mainnet projects can apply for one of 20 Arc Microgrants worth 500 $USDC each from a 10,000 $USDC pool. Submissions close October 14, 2026.
→ Join Arc House and participate in the Architects program through hackathons, events, product testing, content and other eligible contributions.
→ Explore the Arc drone demo, where an autonomous drone pays for its own charging in $USDC, and see how eligible teams building on the network may receive up to $1M in funding.
💡 Architect Points track participation in the Architects program, but they have no monetary value and do not represent $ARC or guarantee airdrop eligibility.
* The Arc Airdrop is confirmed, but eligibility criteria are still to come. For now, explore the ecosystem, use Arc naturally and watch for the $ARC airdrop distribution updates. Follow @Arc on 𝕏 and join the Arc Discord to stay updated on airdrop details and when $ARC becomes publicly tradable.
