Binance is launching the Binance Account Bound ($BAB) token, a Soulbound Token used as proof of identity for Binance users who have completed KYC verification by 2022-09-08 at 09:00 (UTC), who will be able to mint $BAB tokens on the BNB Chain as identity credentials and participate in building multiple projects and earn rewards. Details will be announced by BNB Chain at a later date.
Binance Account Bound (BAB) tokens are the first-ever Soulbound Token (SBT) built on the BNB Chain. $BAB token is non-transferable and has no monetary value. It will function as digital identity credentials for Binance users who have completed KYC verification. What this means is that developers and project owners can specifically reach out and ensure that there is a KYC-ed individual/entity behind the wallet addresses that you’re intending to engage.
