Hash
Ethereum’s post-quantum roadmap is bringing hash-based cryptography back into focus ⚡
Vitalik Buterin recently shared experimental SPHINCS-minus reference code tied to Ethereum’s broader research around hash-based security primitives. HASH takes that narrative into a different direction by bringing browser-native Proof of Work to Ethereum mainnet.
Users can mine $HASH directly from a browser tab through memory-hard Cuckoo Cycle mining running in WASM and WebGPU. The protocol combines Bitcoin-style halvings, autonomous difficulty adjustment, and a fixed 21M supply enforced through an immutable smart contract.
HASH also carries a strong fair-launch structure. 90% of the supply is distributed through mining, 5% was allocated to Genesis, and 5% was paired into permanently locked Uniswap V4 liquidity. There is no team allocation, no VC allocation, no admin control, and no airdrop.
🪂 Mine HASH Directly From Your Browser
HASH mining is already live on Ethereum mainnet.
Users can head to the mining page and start searching for valid Proof-of-Work solutions directly from the browser. Successful submissions mint $HASH straight to the connected wallet, while failed transactions simply mean another miner landed first in the current block race.
The v2 miner uses memory-hard Cuckoo Cycle puzzles through WASM and WebGPU execution, helping reduce the gap between regular devices and specialized hardware. Phones, laptops, CPUs, and GPUs can all participate in the mining process, without complex requirements.
Participants only need a small amount of ETH for gas fees when submitting mining transactions.

Step by step guide Hash Airdrop
-
Connect Wallet → Head to the HASH mining page, connect an Ethereum wallet, and make sure you have a small amount of $ETH available for gas fees.
-
Start Mining → Launch the browser miner and let it search for valid Cuckoo Cycle solutions through WASM or WebGPU execution.
-
Submit Valid Solutions → When the miner finds a valid solution, confirm the transaction in your wallet to submit the proof on-chain and mint $HASH directly to your wallet.
📌 Mining is competitive, and only a limited number of mint slots are available per block.
-
Track Mining and Pool Activity → Follow your hashrate, lifetime mining stats, emission progress, remaining supply, and ETH/HASH pool activity through the HASH dashboard.
